Ditch Witch RT45 trenching up to 1.2m depth and 200mm wide with its direct-coupled, high torque digging chain motor and Deutz diesel Teir 4 engine, the RT45 has plenty of power to muscle through the earth.
This equipment has the ability to drill under roads, buildings, streams etc. The head of this is traced above ground with a computer and it is direction controllable enabling us to travel distances of 150 metres plus at a time below ground, steering as necessary to maintain the required depth and line. The duct/cable is then attached and pulled back through the hole.
The machine is set up in a pit on one side of the road and is pneumatically operated under the road to a pit on the other side. The pipe or duct can be pushed through manually or attached to the back of the machine depending on ground conditions and materials being used. This can be used under roads, driveways, paved or cobbled areas or areas inaccessible to diggers.
Use of conventional diggers and a chain trencher for cable, duct & drain laying.
Mole ploughing is a specialised service with two machines of different sizes. Available for copper, fibre optic cable and water pipe installations.
Using 1 of 4 methods to install duct pipes or cables providing the most cost effective option.
